Inspection cables

inspection

Lapp Muller has developed new cables that considerably simplify the inspection of sewage systems. Thanks to this push cable, sewers can be examined quite simply with a video camera. As a result, even locations inaccessible in the past can now be reached.

There are various cable types depending on the need: cable types: Push cables: These consist of copper cores and a rigid central element that enables the cable to be guided into the sewer pipe.

If damage is then localised and is not too serious, additional sewage reconditioning robots are used. These can repair damage from inside without expensive excavation work. The cable must be able to withstand a great deal. It must be resistant to water, dirt and chemicals, must be extremely abrasion resistant and must withstand very high tensile forces.
